Coping with loneliness during the festive season
We all experience loneliness from time to time. But while the festive season can be a time of joy and connection – it can sometimes also have the opposite effect – making us feel lonely and disconnected. Whether you’re celebrating Christmas, Hanukkah, New Year, another holiday, or none, read our advice and tips for the festive holidays.
Winter appeal: there’s power in coming together – we need your help
Against the backdrop of the cost-of-living-crisis we’re determined to provide a lifeline for families who are experiencing anxiety, stress and hardship. Our group programmes are a safe space in communities where families can go, talk about what they’re going through, and find support for their mental health.
But right now, we can’t reach everyone who needs us. We want to extend our programmes, so more people can come together and get support before problems take hold.
Please donate today to support more families this winter and help them find their belonging in a community that cares.
Financial distress and anxiety during the holidays
No matter what we feel is important at this time of year, it’s hard to escape the feeling that the holidays often mean spending more money than we usually would.
