Good afternoon,
I hope this message finds you well. My name is Ellie and I am the Lead Youth Worker in KFC Youth Foundation’s new youth hub in Middlesbrough. I am reaching out as are launching a new and exciting program called Herb, an essential cooking club designed to support young people in gaining valuable life skills.
Herb provides an opportunity for young people aged 16-25 who live independently or are responsible for cooking in their households, to learn how to prepare and cook healthy, affordable, and delicious meals. Through ten engaging sessions, young people will learn how to master 10 different meals, as well as a variety of snacks and lunch options. Additionally, they will gain practical skills in managing food waste, meal planning, and budgeting. At the end of the program, young people will be provided with an essentials kit so they can continue cooking the recipes they learn at home.
This program aims to boost confidence in the kitchen, encourage healthy eating habits, and provide young people with essential skills that will benefit them in their daily lives.
Our first Herb program will be starting on Thursday 20th March 5-7pm. I have attached a poster with more details if you have any young people who you believe will benefit from this program. If you have any questions, please get in touch. Please can you send any referrals over to us by Monday 10th March.
Thank you for your support, and I look forward to hearing from you.
Kind regards,
Ellie Smith | KFC Youth Foundation

I completely understand that you might have your own schedule to stick to, and I appreciate your time and flexibility. Please feel free to respond whenever you’re next available. I’m looking forward to hearing back from you! |
