Better Health Start for Life ‘Little Moments Together’ Campaign
On 15th January the Department for Education (DfE), in partnership with the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC), launched the Better Health Start for Life ‘Little Moments Together’ Campaign. The campaign aims to educate parents and carers about the importance of brain development in the first five years of a child’s life, and the crucial role they play as parents and carers, with advice and tips available on the Start for Life website.
The campaign runs until 18th March 2024 , so partners can still get involved and promote the home Learning Environment in their area.

Partner Activation Pack with campaign overview, key messages, tips and support for partners when delivering interventions and links to supporting tools and resources.
New Better Health Start for Life parent and infant relationships campaign coming soon
In March the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC), in partnership with the Department for Education (DfE), will be launching the Start for Life ‘If They Could Tell You’ campaign, promoting the importance and benefits of strong parent infant relationships. Partners will be able to support the campaign with a range of resources available from mid-March, including posters, digital screens, web banners and a social media toolkit. Did you know childcare support is expanding?
Eligible working parents in England with a child who turns two before or on 31st March can now apply for 15 hours childcare on gov.uk to start a place in April.
From September 2024, 15 hours childcare will be expanded to eligible working parents in England with children between 9 and 23 months old. From September 2025, eligible working parents in England with children between 9 months up to school age will have access to 30 hours childcare.
