Hello,
This afternoon I finished my final shift as the Headstart south tees and Child health and wellbeing network apprentice after 2 years. Over the time in this role, I have learnt a significant amount. During my time in this role, I have met some wonderful people and had opportunities I never thought I would ever have, from overseeing projects to Co-chairing regional events to even the general concept of empowering young people across south tees, the last two years have certainly be busy…. but exciting.
As I reflect on my time in this role, I want to pay tribute to those who have got me to this position, I never thought at this stage of my life I would be achieving what I am or doing a job I love, but this was always made possible to those who have helped me during this time. I am proud of the work that we have done, as a team, as a network and as a region. We are constantly progressing as a workforce and forever developing, and this has had a profound impact on the children and young people in which our services.
I am forever grateful for this opportunity, and I want to say thank you. I feel so lucky to have worked with such a talented team and I’ll miss working with you all. I wouldn’t be who I am today without the fantastic guidance and support.
Now is time for something new, as I now prepare for life at university, I will reflect on the moments I have had, the good and the bad and the memories I have made during this post.
I wish the team and those who support it the best of luck for the future.
Take care… Ill see you soon 😊
