Outwood Acklam RESPECT Campaign
The Outwood Acklam KS3 HeadStarters recently took part in a RESPECT campaign where the focus was ‘show racism red’. They worked together to display red resources around the academy with informational posters around different events linked to racism and also decorated the hall with bunting to help raise awareness on the campaign. They then situated themselves in the dining hall to drive the Academy’s pledge to stop bullying by offering advice and support to other students.
The HeadStarters, known as Ambassadors within school, have worked on a number of positive projects this year which has enabled them to complete their Silver Award!
