In the new year the HeadStart Team will be working alongside Kirkleatham Hall School to develop a resilience approach across the school community. After a great meeting with Paul McLean, the Headteacher, and Paul Gribbon, the Deputy Headteacher, they were keen to get additional support from HeadStart. And for HeadStart to work in their dedicated school that values the uniqueness of every individual and provides an education alongside holistic development including emotional and social skills.
The school and HeadStart have a solid action plan to implement in the new year. This will enhance their values and school ethos; be safe, be ready, be kind. The school will be working with the HeadStart team to identify their strengths and areas of development using the HeadStart Quality Standard. The Mental Health Lead within the school will be coached by the HeadStart Team to identify goals and take action where needed. The pupils will undertake the HeadStarter Pathway using the roadmap as a starting point for their learning journey.
Welcome to HeadStart Kirkleatham Hall School, we are looking forward to a great new year with you.
