Riverdale Primary School are well underway with their Gold Award! The new year 5 HeadStarters have shown how they are jumping into their role as peer mentors within the school with their first school wide project. The year 5 HeadStarters share an insight into their journey so far as HeadStarters.
Hi!
We’re the new HeadStarters at Riverdale Primary School. We had to fill in application form to become a HeadStarter. Then we got interviewed by the original HeadStarters. Our first job in our HeadStarter role was during antibullying week. We asked the school to make a poster about antibullying and we announced that we were doing it, we also picked out a winner for each class. It was a competition with the year 1 to year 6. On Thursday we picked out one poster from each class. We judged the posters by creativity and information. Once we decided the winners, we announced them in assembly .The people who won from each class got a packet of sweets per person. And the winning posters will be displayed to remind people to be kind and to
NEVER BULLY.
