It’s World Mental Health Day on Thursday 10th October and the theme this year is workplace mental health.
We know that looking after our mental health is equally as important as looking after our physical health, we need to take care of both our physical and mental health every day so it’s time to prioritise mental health in the workplace. For schools and colleges, this means not only supporting the wellbeing of their students but also prioritising the wellbeing of staff.

Let’s take this opportunity on World Mental Health Day to start a conversation about mental health and show everyone that mental health matters. Talking about our mental health can help us cope better with the ups and downs of life and the challenges of a school day!
So check in with your colleagues today and keep the conversation going!
